Balsamic Vinaigrette
Balsamic Vinaigrette is a classic dressing.
I have been making this recipe for years & it is super simple. In fact, one day, I had a couple of friends over for lunch & while we were standing in the kitchen talking, I put the ingredients for this vinaigrette in a shaker bottle & placed it on the buffet with the lunch items. They both commented on how they couldn't believe they had just watched me mix it up so quickly & how it tasted so wonderful.
This dressing is the perfect mix of flavors & can be used on a wide variety of items. Often I mix a little in with tuna salad, or toss together a raw (lettuce-less) veggie salad. It can also be heated slowly over a low heat to make a warm salad dressing.
Enjoy!
