Pumpkin Spice Creamer
Oh for the love of pumpkin spice everything! October rolls around & "pumpkin spice" is everywhere, not just in lattes at your favorite coffee shop.
This pumpkin spice creamer is a great at-home alternative to the pricy coffee shop lattes that are loaded with sugar & other ingredients you don't want anyway. This creamer is made with real, full-fat coconut milk, real pumpkin & just a bit of a good for you sweetener. It has a total of just 5 ingredients, all of which you can pronounce. Trust me you can't say that about what they are putting in your coffee at the corner shop.
This creamer isn't just for coffee, it's also great to add to a cup of hot black tea or chai tea.
So pour yourself a cup of something hot, add in a little of this Pumpkin Spice Creamer & make some Pumpkin Muffins for an amazingly delicious fall snack.
Pumpkin Spice Creamer
ingredients
1 can full fat coconut milk
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
{make sure there are no added ingredients}
1/2 cup maple syrup
{or you could use honey or coconut nectar}
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
directions
place all ingredients in a blender & blend about 30 sec on low.
store in the refrigerator in a glass jar.
to use: mix desired amount into black coffee or tea, serve as a hot or cold beverage.
note: once refrigerated this will become a little thicker which is still fine because it is more like mixing whipped cream into your drink. if you want it to be more pourable, just allow it to sit on the counter for about 15 minutes prior to serving.
